Solemnity of the Annunciation

The angel of Lord declared unto Mary

And she conceived by the Holy Spirit

Behold, the handmaid of the Lord

Be it done unto me according to thy word

The Word was made flesh

And dwelt among us

Hail Mary, full of grace...

For those who confuse the Immaculate Conception, which is 9 December, with the Annunication, note that today is nine months before 25 December.

Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death
