"Time makes you bolder and children get older; I'm getting older, too"

Smashing Pumpkins cover Fleetwood Mac's Landslide. It would be impossible to express what this song, that never resonated with me until I was in my 40s, means to me. "So, take my love and take it down..."

  1. Oh my... you have no idea what this song does to me. It always resonated with me at some level, from when I first heard it when I was in college and then in my 40's when a long term relationship I was in fell apart.

Peace to you today my brother.

  2. Peace to you, too, Fran

I told my wife last night that when I was 24 I never thought twice about this song, but at 44 it takes on a lot of meaning.

  3. I played this song many times while in Baghdad last year. It seemed to capture the essence of the growing up I started to do there.
