Blogito ergo sum! Actually, as N.T. Wright averred, "'Amor, ergo sum': I am loved, therefore I am"! Among other things, I am a Roman Catholic deacon. This is a public cyberspace in which I seek to foster Christian discipleship in the late modern milieu in the diakonia of koinonia and in the recognition that "the Eucharist is the only place of resistance to annihilation of the human subject".

"Bacon and eggs for half price!"
What can I say? I just love Mr. Lunt. He is the pre-eminent member of the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, a group I long to join. Anyway, here is The Cheeseburger Song, which, here in our household, we love.
As far as posting about cheeseburgers and bacon on Friday, which is a day of abstinence, it is to make us stronger and more kosher.
Today we observe the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus- Cor Jesu.

"Mr. Lunt" has somehow become my husband's choice of nickname for our son.
ReplyDeleteI think it has something to do with going to a store when my son was a toddler where a real live Mr. Lunt was a customer. I mean, that was his name. He was a regular human, though, not a gourd. Somehow the humor of that moment has stayed with us for years now.
And, what is your opinion of Boyz in the Sink?
I am just really a big Veggie Tales fan. So, I like Boyz in the Sink- The Bellybutton song is great. I love the Jonah movie, etc. As for a nickname, I love Mr. Lunt. He is always the coolest in whatever he does. He is certainly the coolest pirate.
