Blogito ergo sum! Actually, as N.T. Wright averred, "'Amor, ergo sum:' I am loved, therefore I am." Among other things, I am a Roman Catholic deacon. This is a public cyberspace in which I seek to foster Christian discipleship in the late modern milieu in the diakonia of koinonia and in the recognition that "the Eucharist is the only place of resistance to annihilation of the human subject."

ReplyDeleteYeah, I noticed. I'm a B-52's fan. The fuzzy stand-in did alright though. I especially loved that hair tussling action she had going on.
ReplyDeleteI love the B-52s; funny, if embarassing, memories. I haven't been bold enough to post any B-52s, let alone some real, meaningful, punk rock, like the DKs (I love the Foo Fighters fronted by Serj Tankian covering Holiday in Cambodia) or even Green Day, who I love dearly. I do think next Friday is Jesus of Suburbia, however.
ReplyDeleteWill be looking forward to it. In the meantime, got a good chuckle out of "monsters". I can see why you guys like to start your mornings with it.
