Blogito ergo sum! Actually, as N.T. Wright averred, "'Amor, ergo sum': I am loved, therefore I am"! Among other things, I am a Roman Catholic deacon. This is a public cyberspace in which I seek to foster Christian discipleship in the late modern milieu in the diakonia of koinonia and in the recognition that "the Eucharist is the only place of resistance to annihilation of the human subject".

"Surrender don't come natural to me...
...I'd rather fight you for something I don't really want than take what you give that I need"
I needed this song today. I am thankful my friend Michael made me remember Rich, his music, and Hold Me Jesus- our Friday traditio.

Hmmm - we are often given exactly what we need. If we pay attention. Glad and grateful that I came here today.
ReplyDeleteI love Rich Mullins. I saw him at Canyon Road Assembly of God when we were in high school - humble man, jeans and T-shirt, bare-foot. What a treasure his music is. His "Creed" is still one of my all time favorites.
