Prayers needed

Please put my father-in-law, Al, in your prayers. He is in ICU in Columbus, Ohio, the nearest city to where he lives. He suffered two heart attacks, the second one yesterday. Being the stubborn old farmer that he is, he did not seek help until the second attack, but just kept working. It looks like he is out-of-the-woods this morning, but he needs all the prayers he can get.

I will pray. Sounds a lot like my dad (who pulled through years ago).

  4. Thank you all. The update this evening has him doing well. Prayers are effective.

Yes, Rebecca, you met him at Adam's baptism. He is the reason we did it on an odd day at an odd time. He had not been present for the baptisms of any of our other children.

When my wife and I were seriously dating, but not yet engaged, he out of the clear blue sky and without me asking helped pay my tutition one term in college. He is just that kind of guy.
