In typically erudite, but accessible fashion, Fr.Richard John Neuhaus has given the distressing reaction in many parts of the Islamic world and among many, but by no means all, Muslims breadth and situated it within a broader context, relating them . . . well . . . to first things, fundamental principles, in a posting on his First Things blog. In a not entirely unrelated post, Fr Edward Oakes, S.J. has written yet another brilliant post. This time he addresses Michel Foucault.
